Description

Kalevi Aho's "Solo" series for different instruments gets a new addition
with this piece for trombone, which has been a cherished instrument for
the composer. The virtuoso 9-minute Solo XIII uses widely the
possibilities of the instrument, but according to Aho "the virtuosity
comes from the psychological contents of the work".
