Description
Sanasi, kiveen uponneet (in Engl. Thy Words, Submerged In Stone) is a vivid, energetic, but also deeply contemplative solo work. The piece plays with the traditional instrumental opportunities of cello, from time to time offering the performer a virtuosic challenge. The contemplative polyphonic sections alternate with flashy scherzo passages. The title of the piece refers to the joy that arises from trust between humans beings.
