Description

A missa brevis for descant choir and piano (organ ad lib.) by Olli
Kortekangas gets a Finnish colour in Laudamus, the text of which
"Luotujen virsi" by Pekka Kivekäs is a poem in the Kalevala meter. The
composer encourages conductors to find different ways to perform the
work: for example doubling or replacing the chorus parts by an obligato
instrument.
