Jardin secret I

Description
Dans Jardin secret I, Kaija Saariaho expérimente les possibilités particulières d'utilisation de l'ordinateur pour réaliser des événements musicaux. Un modèle de base contrôle tous les paramètres de l'oeuvre (hauteurs, harmonie, timbres, rythmes...) ; pourtant la musique qui en résulte est loin de sonner comme une pièce sérielle. Le travail compositionnel est surtout axé sur l'harmonie et le timbre ainsi que sur leurs rapports réciproques.
