Ele

for clarinet and string orchestra

Description

The starting point of Ele has been Lauri Sallinen’s wish and idea of a piece with theatrical elements. The subtitle is thus “Five gestic scenes for clarinet and string orchestra”.

Talvella 2022-23 syntynyt Ele sisältää alaotsikkonsa
mukaan ”Viisi gestistä kohtausta klarinetille ja jousiorkesterille”.
Teos muodostuu siis yhtä lailla elekielestä kuin sävelistäkin, ja
alkusysäyksenä on ollut klarinetisti Lauri Sallisen idea ja toive
teatterillisesta kappaleesta.
