Description

The Latin word “cura” translates into English as care, cure, pains, concern, charge and anxiety. One single word that both contains negative connotation as pains and anxiety as well as cure and care.

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in March 2020, humanity once again experienced the force of nature. The force of nature that relentlessly strikes against both high and low, against both rich countries and poor ones. We have known for over 30 years that something must be done to reduce consumption in order for our planet to survive, yet very little has been done, despite that the Greta effect has had a huge impact on people worldwide. But as Pope Francis says in a press conference in 2015: “God always forgives, we men forgive sometimes, but nature never forgives. If you give her a slap, she will give you one.”

The pandemic has affected us in so many ways: millions have suffered from the disease, hundred of thousands of people have died. Moreover millions have also suffered both physically and mentally from the consequences of the pandemic. This piece is dedicated to all who have suffered or are suffering from what COVID-19 has caused.
