Johnny Reinhard’s '128 Tuning’: all pitches are (octave-transposed) harmonics of A, up to the 255th harmonic. The number under each note indicates the odd harmonic. The number above each note indicates the approximate deviation in cents from 24ED, ie. the equal-tempered quarter-tone scale (A4 = 440 Hz).

In addition to the written melody, a performance may contain improvisation.
