Description
The material for the Allerheiligentag cycle is a Finnish folk chorale
for All Saints’ Day (the other works in the cycle are a string trio, a
piece for orchestra and solo works for viola da gamba and violin). The
quartet is in three movements tensed in different ways by contrasts.
