Description
The solo cello work Recitativo has been composed as a mandatory semi-final composition for the youth series of the 2021 Porvoo Cello Competition.
The work could be described as one broad, expressive melody. As the music progresses, the melody evolves and revolves around itself in ever more intense curves to return to the mood at the beginning of the work at the end.
