Description

"…For old and wise was He, the Creator of earth and skye.

White was His beard and long his hair.

One eye had he, the mighty Son of Giants,

with which he gazed at all things dead and alive."

Odin’s Beard takes its inspiration from the old Nordic mythological

sagas. The music could be described as cinematic. One can try to

imagine great green pastures and gloomy hills with big blue and cloudy

skies surrounding the whole. Gods and god-like animals dwell around in

a heaven called Asgård, where the hall of the dead heroes, Valhalla,

is situated. There the mightiest god of them all, the one-eyed and

white bearded Odin, drinks his ale with all the brave and slain Viking

warriors.
