Description

The work has a tonal base, but one consisting not of triads but of pure natural timbres. These calm natural sounds are contrasted with more chromatic episodes. These are scored so that the melodic material creates its own echo within the orchestra.

Teoksella on tonaalinen pohja, joka ei rakennu kolmisoinnuista, vaan puhtaista luonnonsävelsoinnuista. Rauhalliset luonnonsävelsoinnit saavat kontrastia kromaattisemmista jaksoista. Ne on orkestroitu siten, että melodinen materiaali kaiuttaa itseään orkesterin sisällä.
