Description
The title No-Go comes from the term no-go zone. After the Fukushima Daiichi and the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophes, there were declared large no-go zones around both plants. The idea of this kind of human-free area is frightening but strangely fascinating to me: an atmosphere I wanted to describe in this simple work of few elements. The short, high pitches are like sound signals of a device measuring radiation levels. Also, a kind of "musical no-go zone" exists in this work: besides high and low areas, the mid-range is visited only by quick and random glissandos. TR, 2011/2023
