Description

Music for Choir

Is written using a synaesthetic graphic notation system. This system was developed after my composition FEB0906 in order to open up the formalism and allow the shapes to expand and contract in a way that makes more sense for the voice.

Instructions:

each letter is sung but to be pronounced as normal, or like speech … a, b, e, …

Capital letters generally mean long notes and small letters short notes.

The size of the letters denote relative amplitude of each letter.

The relative position vertically represents the pitch of the letter.

The relative position horizontally represents the duration of each letter.

And as always, time flows.
