Description

"Ich bin am Leben" waren die letzten Worte des finnischen Dichters Aleksis Kivi, der im Alter von 38 am Silvesterabend des Jahres 1872 verstarb. Mit der Vertonung von vier Gedichten für Mezzosopran und Gitarre hat Olli Mustonen seinem berühmten Landsmann ein musikalisches Denkmal gesetzt. Kivis teils balladen-, teils naturhafte Lyrik lässt tief in die finnische Seele blicken.
