Description

Les Oréades is a work for piano quartet. The title is inspired by William-Adolphe Bouguereau's painting by the same name, but the music is not a depiction of the painting. The work was written mainly in Paris in late 2013, and finished in Helsinki in March 2014. It was premiered in the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra's chamber music series in Helsinki's Musiikkitalo.
