Concerto for Piccolo Flute and Orchestra
Description
The Kotokoli are an ethnic group in Togo and Benin. The Kotokoli people are famous for their flute music played on a special flute, which reminds with its high pitch of the sound of a Western Piccolo flute. This Concerto is a tribute to these skillful musicians as well as to my African drum tutor Alfa Kaza.
