Kolme laulua

Fennica Gehrman

Description

Tiina Myllärinen (b. 1979) has freely combined texts of three Finnish
poets, Kari Aronpuro, Ilpo Tiihonen and Leif Färding to create a
three-movement set for female voice, guitar and violoncello. The theme
of the suite is growth of a young woman. The rough tones of the first
song give way in the second to beautiful, lyrical lines, and the last
one is full of sunny, light joie-de-vivre.
