Kipuajat

Description
Kipuajat is a short piece for organ. The prelude-like piece introduces some proportional non-measure prelude notational conventions as well as rapid scales within the texture, which is predominantly stable by its harmonic nature. Kipuajat was commisioned by Susanne Kujala for the collecton of short pedagogical organ pieces that are to be premiered on February 2016 at the Helsinki Cathedral by Ms. Kujala's students. Kipuajat is an all-around organ piece that is playable in all (pedal) organ types from Baroque to present.
