Description

Kiinankannel (China chimes) was composed to congratulate my colleague and friend Harri Vuori on his 50th birthday in 2007. It got some nuances from our family trip to Beijing in the previous year. There, momentary sounds of harp from the side alleys caught my attention.

Kiinankannel on sävelletty onnittelukappaleeksi säveltäjäystäväni Harri Vuoren 50-vuotispäiville 2007. Jokin vivahde siihen tarttui edellisen vuoden Pekingin matkalta, missä satunnaisesti ohi vilahtava outo sivukadun harpun helähdys jäi mieleeni.
