Kalalle

by Tomi Räisänen

Description

Around 10,000 years ago, somewhere in Finland: Šep is going fishing. The route goes from his hut along a forest path to a nearby lake. He plays a tune he learned from his father on his bone flute. It's called Song to the Fish. Like his ancestors, Šep always plays this tune to bring good luck for fishing and to honour the spirits of the fish and the lake. TR, 2023
