Description

Between Moments (2026) is a work composed for string quartet that explores the time in between moments.

There is always something in between moments; for some, it may be a time to process emotions, catch their breath, or wait for the next moment, while for others, it may be something entirely different.

For some, the time between moments can feel overwhelming and anxiety-inducing. Thoughts are given space for a moment, while the moments that follow may cause stress. On the other hand, those same moments can be used for recovery, as an opportunity to pause and take a breath. At the same time, we can prepare ourselves for what is to come.
