Description

The work is dedicated to Sandy Koskinen whom I consulted actively during the composition process. Euterpe is an idiomatic work for solo flute in which I have used the numerous textural and timbral possibilities of the flute, using both traditional and contemporary playing techniques. Euterpe is the muse of the flute, one of the nine muses of the Greek mythology. © Minna Leinonen, 2008
