Description
According to Greek mythology, Euryale was one of the three Gorgon sisters. The other two sisters were Medusa and Stheno. Gorgons were women monsters who had snakes on their heads instead of hair. Their most famous ability was to turn a human into stone if one saw Gorgons face. In this trio, musically active and static passages alternate. The fast-moving - and sometimes even aggressive - textures turn into a more static direction and vice versa. In the end, Euryale seems to win the chase and the battle; the music turns slowly into stone and fades away.
