Description

Erik Bergmans Energien Opus 66 (1970) fordern, wie es der Titel angibt, von dem Interpreten ein wahrhaftes Aufgebot dynamischer Kraft. Es handelt sich um ein ausgesprochen virtuoses Stück, wo der Cembalist sich in einen stürmischen Nahkampf mit vieltönigen, teilweise clusterartigen Akkorden, heftigen Tremolos und markanten Rhythmen stürtzt. Eine fast leidenschaftliche Bessenheit wird aufgepeitscht. Im Mittelteil herrscht aber durch die spröden Lautenzüge, die gebrochenen Klänge und die tröpfelnden Töne eine verhaltene, geheimnisvolle Stimmung.
