Die Blume
by Erik Bergman
The Flower
Description
The vocal part is to be performed with improvisatory freedom. The range of expression takes in a variety of techniques: rubato, espressivo, dynamic contrasts, various vocal techniques (whispering, noise, variety of phonetic sounds), all of which are at the creative disposal of the singer. In the light of the above comment, the marking ‘con bocca chiusa’ for example has been used to indicate all singing styles between closed and half-open mouth through to bel canto on changing vowel sounds. The percussionist should follow the singer carefully, paying regard at all times to her sensitivity of vocal expression and virtuoso lines. The Flower is to be experienced as a poetic impression and expressive act.

So bedeutet z.B.
