Ablaze

Description

Ablaze was inspired by the medieval concept of fire as one of the four basic elements. The musical processes structuring the work are dominated by energetic movement. The flames are constantly flickering beneath even the seemingly calm surface, and the lulls in the blaze are repeatedly interrupted by intensive musical bursts of flame. © Jennah Vainio, August 2001
