Teppo Hauta-aho was a versatile musician, double bass teacher and composer who made a long career in both classical and jazz music. He has composed plenty of orchestral music and chamber music, and his list of works include a remarkable amount of compositions for double bass. For instance, Kadenza has been the obligatory work in many international double bass competitions.
