<p>Tomi Räisänen has studied very different styles in his music, flirting with dodecaphony as well as free jazz. Räisänen's output extends from smaller ensembles and choirs to large-scale orchestral works and an award-winning organ concerto. Many works involve electronics, and he has also composed for films and installations.</p> <p>He is not averse to rare instruments or instrument combinations: his catalogue includes music for recorder, sax, accordion, marimba and Chinese sheng mouth organ. </p>
