Timo Kittilä graduated from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in 2016, where he studied under renowned mentors such as Hannu Pohjannoro, Jyrki Linjama, and Jovanka Trbojevic. His compositions have been performed both in Finland and internationally by esteemed ensembles like Tampering Ensemble and TampereRaw, as well as organists Esa Toivola and Jan Lehtola. Active in the contemporary music scene, Timo has been a key figure in organizing the Tampering Festival since 2013. Timo's music is characterized by a deep exploration of the conscious and unconscious, with a focus on contrapuntal motion and intricate detail.
