Atso Almila
“Atso Almila’s music is generally Neo-Classical and practically oriented,” says Kimmo Korhonen. Thanks to his extensive career as a musician and a conductor, Almila is well familiar with the orchestra and its instruments. His considerable output includes a substantial amount of incidental music and operas that could be described as folk operas. He himself plays the trombone, and brass instruments occupy a central role in his output.
