Description

Triptych is an exploration of three separate melodic ideas each characterised by certain pitch material, timbres, dynamic ranges and pacing. The first of the three is a lonely, haunting hum-like melody. The second is an outburst of energy that leads to the third idea, a slow and expressive cantabile line.
