Lumen for kantele and string quartet
Description
Lumen got its inspiration from the miraculously bright, cold, bluish Nordic high noon light, which rigorously penetrates the northern winter's darkness. Lumen is based on contrasts and their nuances: the differencies and combinations of transparency and shadowy, smooth and rough, dry and vibrating sounds.
